Mint Julep
It’s summer. Mint Juleps were made to drink with friends on a leisurely day. Trust me.
Also trust me when I say that you want to use good bourbon and fresh mint. Since there’s not too much to this drink, you want to make sure that what you use is quality. Quality ingredients = quality drink.
Remember that simple syrup recipe? Now’s the time to use it. If you are feeling adventurous, you can even add mint to the syrup when you make it and then use the mint syrup for this recipe. Extra minty fresh!
